What a fantastic time we had in Alicante during the “Hogueras” festival and street party! Fiesta, fiesta and more fiesta! And with 21 teachers from 7 different countries to enjoy it with, we really had a wonderful week! Throughout the city over 90 spectacular “Horgueras” – large satirical papier mâché statues are erected to be burnt on the night to the 24th of June known as the “Noche de la Cremà”. Another highlight are the “Mascletás” – amazing midday pyrotechnic shows in the centre of Alicante where hundreds of firecrackers are let off to create a deafening, rhythmic spectacle of sound. To finish the week off, there are the fantastic midnight firework shows at the beach! Of course, we also enjoyed the course too! As you can see from the photos, our participants were more than eager to play!
Here’s what some of our participants had to say…
Great course. Our group was impressed by the creativity of the trainers. We would like to participate in another course organised by this team of teachers. Thank you very much for the fun and education. Agnieszka Ratman, Poland
Supportive, interactive, collaborative and fun! A jam packed week of energy and enthusiastic trainers and participants. I feel totally invigorated for the new school year. Thank you. Marian Hamill, Great Britain
It was a great experience to share with all the participants. I liked very much the way the course was structured, the two trainers’ attitudes and the care taken for everybody’s needs and expectations. Congratulations! And many thanks for the way you made us all feel here in Alicante. Rodica Zimbru, Romania
