Beautiful beaches and fabulous fiestas!

Alicante is famous for its warm climate, wonderful palm tree lined avenues and shopping streets. The original name of the city “Lucentum” translates as “City of Light”. This attractive town set on the Costa Blanca coast has spectacular golden beaches, huge plazas, wonderful parks and an attractive marina. The city provides lots of activities and entertainment as well as great restaurants and nightlife for tourists and locals alike.

Alicante’s climate also offers the wonderful opportunity to take the course outside and use the beach! We always reserve the perfect spot for our outside classroom with plenty of shade and the chiringuito (beach bar) near by for those all important break times!

Our course dates also allow you enjoy Alicante at its liveliest during the local festivals of “Semana Santa” in April or “Hogueras” in June when there are lots of local cultural activities to enjoy including processions, street parties and fireworks!

We will also enjoy a trip to Altea, one of the most picturesque towns along the Costa Blanca. Its typical white houses and narrow streets are beautifully kept and decorated with flowers and artwork. You will find beautiful viewing balconies, art galleries, quirky shops, bars and restaurants which preserve the traditional Mediterranean atmosphere.
