Rachel Bennett

UNITED KINGDOM

Hello! I’m Rachel , an experienced and enthusiastic creativity and well-being practitioner specialising in inclusive practice and Special Educational Needs. I hold a BA in English and Drama, a PTLLS Cert, and a QCF in Health and Social Care.

I’m passionate about celebrating ability and well-being in the classroom, focusing on each individual’s learning journey. Strengthening communication with parents, carers, and the wider community is also central to my work. With 30 years of experience in community and educational settings, I’ve developed tools to help individuals grow in confidence and access opportunities beyond the classroom.

As a member of the STPM team for the past four years, I lead the Special Needs and Inclusive Education course, along with sessions on The Positive Teacher, Well-being and Stress Management, Mindfulness and Meditation, and Smart Teachers Play More courses.

Based in the UK, I enjoy spending time with my husband, three grown children, and my cat Luna. I’m also a keen creative, participating in a Community Theatre Collective, writing, directing, and performing. In my free time, you’ll find me cold water swimming, reading, or at a cozy coffee shop.

Teaching is a vocation that has the power to inspire, and I’m grateful to be part of STPM’s diverse team, working with so many incredible teachers and practitioners.
