Þóra Klein

ICELAND

Hello! I’m Þóra, my journey began as a ballet and aerobics instructor, as well as a gymnastics coach. Wanting to deepen my expertise, I pursued a B.S. in Physical Education and Well-being. Over the years, I’ve taught physical training to individuals and groups, working in kindergartens, schools, and delivering lectures on healthy living and exercise.

I also spent several years in a rehabilitation program, helping people rebuild their strength after illness or injury—a journey I understand personally, having gone through rehabilitation myself. My kindergarten was among the first to implement the "Play to Learn More" methodology, and I’ve since worked on the project in both Iceland and Spain. Today, I’m proud to be part of the incredible team at Smart Teachers Play More.

I’m also a certified Kane Core Integration Comprehensive Pilates Mat teacher, having trained at Kane School NY, and I run my own small studio where I teach Pilates and focus on posture and well-being. I continue to give lectures on exercise and well-being in schools and companies.

You can meet me on courses such as  Well-being and Stress Management, Mindfulness and Meditation, Kindergarten Teachers Play to Learn More and other Smart Teachers Play More sessions.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my three grown children and grandchildren, who keep me feeling young and energized. As an animal lover and nature enthusiast, I also cherish the peace and quiet of the countryside.
