This policy applies to all our scheduled courses in Iceland and Spain 2024-2025.

How to pre-register on our courses

You can pre-register on any scheduled Smart Teachers Play More (STPM) course by filling out our online forms below.

What pre-registration means

Pre-registration does not require any booking fee, payment of a course or obligation to attend a course.  Pre-registration means you have filled out our online form and chosen a particular course and date to attend.  Once you have filled out our online registration form, STPM will send you an email confirming that you are successfully pre-registered on that course.  Useful documentation you may need will also be sent including Learning Agreement templates and Europass Mobility templates.  STPM will then regularly inform you of the course status including the confirmation of the course and places available.

While pre-registration alone does not secure your place on the course, your place will be reserved pending completion of the payment conditions specified below. In the event of courses nearing capacity, those who have pre-registered will be given priority over new enquiries. Your application status will transition to ‘registered’ upon full payment, ensuring your confirmed place on your chosen course and session.

How to formalise and guarantee your course place

To formalise and guarantee your course place, payment of the full course fee is required.  When filling out our online registration form, you can choose the option of formalising your place immediately, “Please send me an invoice now” or formalising you place later, “I would prefer to pay closer to the course date.”

If you choose to formalise your place at the time of registration, we will send you a course invoice with payment details, so you can fully register your place.  Once payment is received, we will confirm your place via email.

If you choose to formalise your place later, you have up to 4 weeks before the course begins to pay. If you have not formalised your place 4 weeks before the course or if the course is nearing capacity, we will contact you to confirm attendance and organise course payment.

What if I can’t attend a course and I have paid?

In the event of cancelling your participation due to personal circumstances such as flight changes, health concerns, or other personal matters, we do not provide refunds. However, we do provide the flexibility to reschedule your booking to another course within the same category at no additional cost, and this option is available for a period of two years from the date of cancellation.

What if STPM cancels the course?

In the unlikely event that STPM cancels a course, you will receive a full refund of the amount you paid for the course within 4 weeks of the cancellation.
